I'm so honored to announce that Even in Darkness has made the shortlist for the Sarton Literary Award in the category of historical fiction. This award is sponsored by the Story Circle Network, an international nonprofit association of women writers, and is named in honor of May Sarton, who is remembered for her outstanding contributions to women's literature as a memoirist, novelist, and poet.
